Flower delivery to Psáry from a Prague florist

The municipality of Psáry lies south-east of Prague, between Jesenice and Jílové u Prahy. It comprises two parts, Psáry and Dolní Jirčany.

The first record of Psáry dates from 1088, when King Vratislav donated local land to the Vyšehrad Chapter. The Church of St Wenceslas in Dolní Jirčany is an early Gothic building, probably dating from 1186; in 1877, it was extended with a Neo-Romanesque nave and bell tower. Amos Primary School in Dolní Jirčany, run by the municipality of Psáry, officially opened on 3 September 2019. Its building won the Grand Prix of Architects in 2020 and also serves as a community centre with a public library.
