Flower delivery in Vrané nad Vltavou

Vrané nad Vltavou lies in the Prague-West District on the right bank of the Vltava. In 2025, it had about 2,700 residents. A municipal ferry links the municipality with Strnady on the opposite bank of the Vltava.

The first written record of Vrané nad Vltavou dates from 993 in the foundation charter of Břevnov Monastery. The Gothic Church of St George stands on a rise, and its tower has an onion-shaped dome. Built in 1936, Vrané hydroelectric power station was the first large hydroelectric station on the Vltava and is the last stage of the Vltava Cascade.
